I am a B.COM student....I want to get in in shipping field....means i need job in shipping field....what should i do????

you can get job after completing MBA in hospitality management for on cruise duty.

you ca join merchant navy after completing any deck cadet course or training or after persuing hostess training.

However, you can also join as account officer on port duty etc.

hi mohit, i dont know about shipping field but there are openings in wipro for b.com freshers... so if you want you can apply and the job location is pune..

as you are eligible for the course ....now contact a shipping company or shipping training institute like namac.....

as you have done b.com........you might have to do some mechanical or marine courses before going on a ship..........

the institute will inform you all the details of the course you need to do.....

As a commerce graduate you can easily enter the shipping field or the Port trust in the Logistics division and the accounting division in the government and private shipping companies as the office cadets with a handful salary with retirement in the age of 60 in the public sector and in the private some companies giving the retirement only on the basis of the health not on the age factor for the deserving candidates.

You can do the course like cadet course in the merchant navy to join in the shipping companies..

Also there are management courses like MBA in shipping or port management that you can do after your graduation..

After this course you can easily get into the shipping corporations or the Govt or private port organizations..

ur cource fees will be
mim 200 000 if u done frm delhi or mumbai
then u have 2 gave money min 3.5 lakh for placement , if want a good comp.
and in this line agents will
ran with u money also
so if u have 10 lakh
to wast then come 2 this

ma suggestion is just study and try 2 get a good job ,
