Re: Which job is good to join, Clerk or PO?
You did not mention the qualification with which you want to appear for bank exams which is the deciding factor in order to join as either clerk or PO.
If you have completed Graduation, then better to apply for PO jobs and if you are not even graduate and just completed 10+2, then better to apply for clerical positions. Both these clerical positions and PO jobs are in hot demand these days. One should have good preparation prior to the exam to get the job. The selection procedure will be by -Written test -Interview. Both clerical and PO positions are the entry level positions in the bank. The PO designation is higher than that of Clerical position and will be paid good salary and in the same way more performance is expected from the PO positions. |

Re: Which job is good to join, Clerk or PO?
well my friend you really
seem not to understand the basic nature of these two PO is an officer grade post while Clerk is a non officer kind post which is much lower than PO so if you get to choose you definitely choose PO as it is the higher level post. NOTE: Minimum qualifications for PO : Graduate with minimum 60 % marks for general category students Clerk : Matriculation only, you see PO requires much highly educated person |

Re: Which job is good to join, Clerk or PO?
dear friend,
My friend both the post are different ... PO service means provisionary officer, you will get a job in officer rank. And clerk post is much lower than PO post.. After completion of 12th only one can apply foor clerical service.. But to apply for PO service one have to complete the graduation at least.. So, I will suggets you to go for BANK PO exam.. By which you will be able to get a better designation and good salary package.. So, go for it.. All the best. |

No job is good or bad by its nature. It depends upon any candidate's efficiency to manage that job.

Re: Which job is good to join, Clerk or PO?
Both clerk and po are good job because this is banking sector job. If your question is regarding salary package then the higher post higher pay means po . As you are a b.com graduate you should prepair for Po.

Re: Which job is good to join, Clerk or PO?
It is always suggested to get PO job than Clerical job.
Because PO (Probationary Officer) is a -High level Designation -Responsibilities are high -Salaries are high etc. You did not mention the percentage of marks that you scored in your Graduation. In order to be eligible to apply for PO positions, you should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in your Graduation. I suggest you to apply for IBPS PO Exam which is the common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions on behalf of all public sector banks. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge etc. There is negative marking for the wrong answer questions in the written exam. You have to score minimum cut off marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. You should posses the following age criteria to apply for this Exam. For General category : 20-28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. Have good preparation for the written exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |
