As you a MCA student so you can enter in DRDO in many ways as:
1. Appear in GATE exam & after getting top score then you can apply for direct interview in DRDO

DRDO's RAC division takes care of recruiting scientists at different grades. Experienced engineers can get into higher grades through lateral entry scheme. For fresh students, RAC conducts a SET exam and also conduct campus recruitment for all colleges coming under IIT board. Usually they take in Btech students for scientist postings in different engineering streams. MCA is not specified as a qualification degree. hey friend if you are doing your MCA from some very nice college which provide placements then you dont have to worry as DRDO use to pick some students for it.......if your college dont provide placements then you have to send a resume to the CEO of DRDO or to the head of the HR department........

I dont think if there is any job for MCA graduates in DRDO, you need to be a Computer Engineer then only there are some possibilities from Computer Science side.

However, there is JRF and SRF programs available at DRDO for which MCA graduates can apply. Which is a 2 years lond stipend program.

JRF Criteria: For computer science department, candidate either must be a 1st class CSE Graduate or a 1st class Post Graduate Dgree holder in Computer Scienceand must be a 1st class in bachelor one also. So MCA can also apply.

SRF Criteria: 1st class Post Graduate Dgree holder in Computer Science and must be a 1st class in bachelor one also. So MCA can also apply.

Depnding on requirement and vacancy notification are released in "Employment News".

However, there are jobs of "Technical Assistant" for B.sc holders.

For Technical Assistance (CS) (Group-C): Candidate must be a 1st class CS Graduate and must also have studied MAthematics or Electronics for atleast 2 years in there B.Sc.

Age Limit: 28 years.

Salary: 5,000-8,000.

Notification: Are released in Employment News, as and when there is vacancy, so keep it reading.

Friend it is some thing different from your Field, But depends on your involvement . every Year SAT exam will be conducted in SEP 1, this year they din't conduct the exam, so that you can expect more number of recruitment for the next year, prepare well for the exam, check it out this attachment

if you want to join in DRDO just go through their recruitment website www.rac.drdo.in regularly. there will be notification for recruitment. there is a examination scientist entry test(SET). you may appear in this examination to join in DRDO. best wishes.

Eligibility and Educational Qualification for DRDO exam:
Atleast first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.

Note : If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.75 CGPA shall be considered equivalent for grade points on a ten point scale.
