1. Is Karnataka open university B.Tech (Electrical) approved by UGC. Can i apply/claim promotion in Government jobs after completing this course.

2. Can i take admission for M.Tech/M.E. AICT approved courses after completing
B.Tech from Karnataka open university.

Karnataka State Open University was established on 1st june 1996,it came into existence by the virtue of Ksou impact.It is a recognized university.It is recognized by University Grants Commission.
The distance education programmes are recognized by the DEC(Distance Education Council).The university is also member of AIUi.e; Association Indian Universities.It is also awell known member of Association of Common wealth universities(ACU).It is also a member of Asian Association of open university.So your Degree is valid and you can apply for all the government jobs including state as well as central.

Doing engineering in mechanical from karnataka state open university gives eligibilty for applying m-tech through gate exam anywhere in India? And engineering degree from
Ksou gives validation for any government any private jobs.
