It is not possible to offer Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), by any university. The Council has stopped approving technological programs offered through correspondence mode by any university located anywhere in India. The only programs approved by the council offered through distance mode are:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Computer Application (MCA)

So, B.Tech in Computer Science or any other discipline offered by Karnataka State Open University is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Is KSOU B.Tech (Civil) approved from AICTE or Ministry of HRD or DEC or UGC.

Please remember no technical course can be offered by distance mode. In case of KSOU. It doesnt have the authority to do the same.

No, B.Tech from State Open University is not approved by AICTE

i am attaching two circulars by KSOU by which you gonna understand that KSOU and any other State open universities approved by UGC and DEC only

Also , The Karnataka State Open University is not approved by the All India Council For Technical Education [AICTE] to offer Technical Degree Programs.

Hence , the B.Tech CS Course offered by the KSOU is not approved by the AICTE and thus has no importance in terms of validity in Government Jobs.
