I have completed B.Sc maths honours from DU. Which university is better for M.Sc Maths through correspondence, KUK or IGNOU?

Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra is a Four Star university. The Kurukshetra University was ranked 24th postion by India Today in year 2011.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University also known as IGNOU, is a distance learning national university located in IGNOU road, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, India.

According to me Indira Gandhi National Open University is best for M.Sc Maths through correspondence rather than KUK.

KUK stands for Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and IGNOU stands for Indira Gandhi National Open University. Both universities are well reputed but my suggestion to you should go for IGNOU. IGNOU is an open university. So you can easily go for master's degree through correspondence.

The Kurukshetra University and IGNOU both the Universities are good university.

From any of these two you can get admission for M.Sc mathematics the value of the degree will be same. But as you know that IGNOU have a lot of Regional offices and study center in all over the India, as compared to Kurkukshetra.

But IGNOU is more better then Kurkukshetra because:

1. Online availability of Study materials
2. A lot of study center means that you can select any of these according to your comfort
3. Most Indian prefer IGNOU because it has big name as compare to other universities who offers distance education courses.
4. Fee of IGNOU is less then Kurukshetra.
5. You can apply online for admission for IGNOU,etc.

This is why I will perfer you to select IGNOU.

KUK stands for Kurukshetra University, Krukshetra.
IGNOU stands for Indira Gandhi National Open University.

IGNOU will be best option in India for any student in case of course through correspondence.
But for admission in any course for upcoming session in IGNOU, last date for registration with late fee is 31st August 2016 up to 5 PM.
So, you can not apply for admission in upcoming session.

Also, admission process in distance course in KUK is already completed.
So, you have to wait for admission in next session as last date to apply for admission in both universities is over.

If you are keen to study M.Sc then you should go for JAM through which you can take admission in IIT and IISc.
IIT and IISc will be best institute for higher studies.
Also, through JAM, you can take admission in joint M.Sc and PhD program.
But registration for JAM is also over.

So, in vacant time, you can prepare for JAM very well to get selected to study in best institute of India.
