Re: Latest GATE stipend 2015
The latest GATE stipend which is valid from 2015 is Rs 12400 per month to those students who have joined M.Tech program at an AICTE approved college. The stipend will be given to you for 2 years which is the duration of the M.Tech course. UGC has increased the stipend from this year onwards. Previously, it was Rs. 8000 per month. Therefore, it is certainly a good step for students who want to study higher.

Re: Latest GATE stipend 2015
For several years there has been a demand from research fellows to increase the amount of fellowship. Under various schemes the fellowship has been increased by about 55%. The rate of fellowship of JRF and SRF will be on par with the UGC fellowship of Science and technology students as amended from time to time.
The UGC has raised the PG scholarships from Rs 8000 to Rs 12,400 per month for graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) qualified students. |
