this days there is the softwares companies are almost taking any student from any branch ,anyways

also most of the psu are taking the electronics student
and you can also write the ies exam and get job in fields like railways and some other big national company of importance

Electronics is the mother of Computer.
There are less companies of electronics compare to computer.
But u can do job in soft companies also by doing courses like CDAC,WIMC and hire a goog job.Syllabus of computer and electronics is fifty % same so it will be simpler to switch from electronics to software.Electronics Background student get job in telecom which is not a stationary job and salary is less.So why not to switch towords software.

hi Friends........ I m also a Electronics Engineer, but nw i am preparing for civil services, so the related compney of Electronics fields are in large numbers, some compney of electronics are - Sony ericsson

- motorola
- Syntel

but now days software compneies also hire electronics students, sony ericsson is a gud compney, if u have a good ability thn u can find a good job in this compney easily because it requires large nos. of employee for different different projects.
