I am M.E computer Science student, can i apply for NET December 2016 exam?? If i eligible, then i have to choose computer science and applications subject??

M.E in Computer Science candidates are eligible for UGC NET exam. You can choose Computer Application subject fr UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

Eligibility criteria for M.E:
1)Candidates who have appeared or will be pursuing in master degree final year exam and whose final year result is still awaited may also apply for NET.
2)Candidates who have secured 55% in master degree or equivalent are eligible for the test.
So you can apply for it and you have to choose computer application for NET exam.
