This is chandan,completed my BE(CSE).next i want to do marine engineering.if any chance is there for me to do the marine courses.its my dream to get the job as marine engineer. please guide me sir......MY EMAIL ID:[email protected]...

After completing the BE i think u go for M.tech like courses Marine Engg. is not a good choice ........

you have to be a b.tech in marine engineering or nautical science to become a marine
engineer.....
your eyesight should be 6/6 with no colour blindness.....

you can also do courses in marine like

Diploma in Merchant Navy
diploma in Nautical Science
General Purpose Rating (GP Rating)
Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS)
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nautical Science
Presea Training for Diploma Holders (DME)
Presea Training for Graduates (GME)

see, Marine Engineering is a specialization of mechanical.

so mechanical engineering holder after btech they can do Marine Engineering.

There is very difficult to join marine engineeing for CSE students.
This is basically for mechanical engineering.
Marine Engineering is not that difficult and tedious to finish compare to CS Engineering. If you want to shift from computer to Marine Engineering after your completing year definitely is not big problem. I'm sure that all your subjects in computer will be credited in Marine. All you need to take up later is the major subjects related to Marine Engineering.

ya of course you can do the marine engineering after B.E(CSE)......
for the marine engineering you have to give the entrance exam .
and qualify in them .....
there are many marine engineering college in India ....
you can take admission in any college and take the degree.,......

As you are saying that you are going to complete your BTech in CSE, then i see no poit in you applying for marine engineering course. What is the point to do graduation again after 4 years on graduation itself?

I suggest that you think sensible and dont go for the marine engineering course now. Instead you can go MTech in CSE or go for MBA, that would be much better and according to your field.

SO dont waste 4 years of life on marine engineering, you should have thought of doing marine engineering before going for CSE.
