Hello sir, I want to ask about marks which are required for an obc student to assure a seat in jee advance 2015 . Pls make that I m not asking for cutoff marks .

Every year it’s the same scenario, JEE main cut off is marginally higher as compare to last year whether it’s for General Category or for OBC or for SC/STs.

Last year as per JEE main 2014 results which was declared on May 2nd along with category wise cut off for JEE advance 2014, candidates those who scored 115 or more was qualified for JEE advance.

Those who were under OBC category and had scored more than 74 marks were eligible for JEE advance 2014. Similarly, for SC and ST it was 53 marks and 47 marks.

Being in OBC category, if you score at least more than 80 marks this time, you might be eligible for JEE advance 2015. Because as per statistics, every year cut off marks for JEE advanced is marginally getting higher, for an example in 2013 for OBC the cut off score was 70 and in 2014 it was 74, so this time you can expect more figure.

I have already qualified for jee advance but I want to know that what should I score in advance 2015 to definitely assure a seat in any of the IIT in CS or Mechanical branch.
