I want to do mbbs 5 year course, i want to know the maximum age limit for mbbs course in india

You can apply for the course if you are not over 25 years old. There is a 5 year relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC category. Minimum age specified is 17 years. 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology is a must. The exams are generally scheduled around April and May.

Eligibility:

i. He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./DENTAL Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

ii. The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Schedule Tribes/Other Backward Classes.

For MBBS course admission NEET is conducted on All India Level.

Also there are seperate medical entrance examination conducted by various Top medical colleges of the country like AIIMS, JIPMER etc.

For NEET age should not be below 17 years and you must be 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology Subjects.

For All India Quota Seats there is upper age limit of 25 years and age relaxation is available for reserved categories.

For State Level Quota seats there is no upper age limit for NEET.

Hence it is clear that you are eligible to apply for Medical entrance for State Level Seats because there is no upper age limit for it.

Exam Pattern:

The examination will have objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

There will be 180 questions and duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Physics and Chemistry will have 45 questions each and Biology will have 90 questions.

There will be negative mark for every wrong answers and you have to be careful while attempting questions.

The minimum age limit is 17 years at the time of appearing for first year of MBBS. As the ALL INDIA PRE MEDICAL TEST website states the upper limit for appearing for MBBS exam in India is 25 years. The limit is relaxed for 5 years for those who belong to SC/ST category.
