Dear Sir,

1. Can i do MBA in Insurance & Risk Management through IGNOU, Plese intimate me duration of time ,semesters & subjects in which i have to examine.
2. Can i do it in one year & is it valid course.

yes, you can do MBA in Insurance & risk management through IGNOU.it is a two year course and the exams are yearly.for subjects ,fees etc prospectus is to be examined.
You can not do it in one year as it is not valid in one year & treated as a incomplete course which have no value.

IGNOU offers two type of MBA degree programmes:
-Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Program Fee: Rs. 700/- per course. Rs. 1400/- for MS100 (Total 21 courses)

-Master of Business Administration - Banking and Finance (MBF)
Program Fee: Rs. 700/- per course (Total 21 courses)

However if you want to do one year course than try various diploma programmes .

You can do but for 1-year and from distance mode i dont think that it will give you any benifit to your career. MBA from distance mode should be done for two year program while doing a job so that it can give a path to your good career.
So if you want to do than do 2-year program while doing a job so you can get a better result.
