For being marine engineer (merchant navy) you need to do a course called GME Graduate Marine Engineer . There are many institutes which offer these course.
Criteria is 50% in BE and clearing their entrance exam.

few institutes are AMET in chennai, GE shipping in lonavala pune, tolani institute in lonavala .
Please keep track of this institutes during your 7/8 sems of BE
