Dear Ma'am/ Sir, My son's date of birth is 27/3/2008..when he joined the lkg was at the age of 3 years... Can he appear for 10th board exam. I and my son so confused..

In general the minimum age required for appearing in the Class 10th board examination under any board of education is 14 years and 6 months by the time of appearing in the
same examination.

So, having enrolled your son in LKG (Lower Kinder Garten) at the age of 3 years, your son should be able to appear in his Class 10th without any issue related to his age as it
normally takes 12 years from LKG to reach the Class 10th board examination which
would mean your son's age will be around 15 years by the time he will appear in his
Class 10th board examination.

The minimum Age required for appearing in CBSE 10th class board examination is 14 years .

According to the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination .

°°° As per the guidelines of Central Board of Secondary Education, there is no fixed criteria of age to appear in class 10th examination.
CBSE has not set any minimum age criteria for appearing in 10th board examination. CBSE says that, if a candidate has passed 9th standard at any age and has registered for board examination of 10th standard then he or she can appear for High School Board exam without any problem.
