Minimum age for registration in 10th class in CBSE affiliated schools?
Sir, my son is studying in class 5th in session 2019-20. Will he be able to appear in 10th Board exams in the year 2025 under CBSE Board's curriculum?

The minimum age required to appear in CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which the candidate has got admitted to his/her Class 10th.
So, in order to be eligible to appear in the CBSE Class 10th board examination 2025, your son's age must be at least 14 years as on 01.10.2024. For more details and FAQs related to CBSE Class 10th board examination, you can refer to the link www.cbse.nic.in. |

CBSE is not responsible to decide the age limit criteria to appear in 10th board examination.
It is decided by the Directorate of State Education Board. So, you can visit the concerned office for the detail information about the age limit to appear in the examination. |
