What is the minimum cutoff marks to join in npti course and how to calculate the cut off marks

It's not possible to calculate the Cutoff marks because merit list changes year by year and no one can predict about merit list because it merit list depends on some factors like how many candidates apply for NPTI course or how many marks they got ,

Main thing is 70% of your CAT percentile and 30% of your performance in GD & PI. If you have a good score and then you perform well in GD & PI you are through. And if you are having work ex in Power sector that will be an added advantage. Your relevant work ex could ease of the cut off criteria in final selection. But not in initial stages, getting shortlisted for GD &PI.

Last year final cutoff was 73 percentile

# I would like to aware you that cut-off of any examination is a variable thing. It is does not remain constant every year.

# The cut-off of examination vary from year to year as it depends upon following factors:

* Number of seats/vacancies advertised
* Number of candidates participating
* Difficulty level of question paper
* Performance of candidates in examination

# There is no any clear cut formula to calculate the cut-off of any examination. Actually cut-off can be described as that it is the score/marks obtained by the candidate who figured last in the merit/selection list.

# It is advisable that try to score as high marks as you can. More the marks obtained more the chances of getting success.
