hello sir m B.E. student n i wanna know what is the procedure to appear in ssc exam ? i m a girl so girl can join it or nt?

For your information:Yes ,you are eligible for giving SSC exams.
Minimum Eligibility criteria for SSC:
2. a subject of Nepal, or 3. a subject of Bhutan, or 4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. yes you can give the exam Eligibility Criteria for SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination The minimum educational qualification required for applying to the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of any recognized Indian University. The age limit of candidates applying for the various posts are listed below: * For Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI, candidates must be aged between 20 and 27 years. * For Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs etc., candidates must be aged between 18 and 27 years. * For Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces, candidates must be aged between 20 and 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes etc. as per the norms stipulated by the Government of India. Staff selection commission makes recruitment to non technical group C and E non gazatted posts in ministries / departments of govt of india. There are various types of examination conducted by ssc. The minimum age limit for ssc exams are 18 to 27 years. SSC also provides age relaxation to SC and ST- 5 years
OBC- 3 years Centeral govt employees - 5 years Jammu and kashmir residents born between 1980 to 1989 etc. In addition ssc also provides cumulative age relaxation. For more info please visit http://www.ssc.nic.in Good luck |

18-27 years as on 01.08.2011 - age limit

I have completed my Engineering in 2010. I have a simple doubt in the Qualification for SSC Short Service Commission Executive{GS(X)} for Excecutive Officer. After completing Xth standard i joined for Diploma, its a 3 year course and then joined for BE directly for 2nd year. When i applying for SSC Short Service Commission Executive{GS(X)} for Executive Officer through online their is a section for Qualification when i selected BE in that its asking for 1st to 8th Semester BE marks, as i have joined directly to second year what i should fill in the first 2 semester marks. Please help me to get a conclusion about this and i will be waiting for your reply and the last date for applying through online is 27th march so i kindly request you to reply me as soon as possible. i am a final year student of enf=gineering in computer science. i will get my degree in august,2011.... i read all the answers of difrent respected guides bt i did not get the satisfactory answer. in ssc notice thr is written that u have a graduation degree at on closing date ... in the third point of that notice there is written that u hace to show your marksheets and other original documents of degree. i really can't understand "AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THE SSC COMBINED GRADUATE EXAM OR NOT"

the minimum eligibility criteria for the SSC is that one should be a graduate with a minimum of the 60% of the marks throughout the career that is in the 10th ,12th and the graduation.....

greetings sir,am barath kumar from bangalore,i have completed my 12th in 2005 later ..my aim is to join marine...bt my parents dint let me to do it.....i was forced to join BE in computers in 2005...bt i cudnt make it i was totally broken ...i cudnt score due to lack of interst...i was depressed totally...i quit BE....later i was admited in ashram....later i made up ficatemind and joined bsc in fashion designing in 2007....everythng was goin gud.....i completed my 3 years ...i got my completion certificates frm college....bt i have 4 back papers tat i cudnt clear.....can i apply for ssc or nda exams with my 12th certificates.....my age is 23 rit now.....i cant give up my ambition...i gotta join force ..pls guide me sir.......i have sufferd a long way to join force..is there any solution or training centers tat i can make it up....with my 12th documents...pls do reply sir....warm regards .....jauihind

Age limits: Candidate born not earlier than 2nd August, 1986 and not later than 1st August, 1991 only are eligible to apply/appear. (Upper age limit relaxable
for SCs/STs. The minimum eligibility to appear in SSC is as follows: 1. You must be a citizen of INDIA or subject of Nepal, Bhutan etc. 2. You should have passed Matriculation/Equivalent/Higher exam. 3.
