IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination is common written examination for recruitment of probationary officer/management Trainees in 19 Public Sector Banks.This examination is conducted twice in a year by IBPS.
Eligibility Criteria for this examination :- You have to possess graduate degree with any desire subject of a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as Such by the Central Government and final year candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination. You must have attained the minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2012 and Upper age limits is given to the reserved categories.Three years for OBC categories and Five year for SC/ST categories. Written examination :- -Reasoning -English Language -Quantitative Aptitude -General awareness -Computer awareness + Descriptive questions. its different for category wise. and also depends upon overall students who got maximum and minimum marks. when ever ibps conduct exam they will be fixing reasonable cut-off mark. so don't confuse about minimum and maximum marks. lets frankly i am telling that keep practise well. IBPS exam is conducted to 19 banks so you go for after qualifying the IBPS exam then you go for some other formalities. Here i give some statistics about Ibps exam:- Good Luck................ |

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Factors on which Cut-off score depends:- Average marks in each paper at the National level. Total number of candidates appeared in the Examination. The relative difficulty/easiness of each paper . Cut-off marks according to Experts:- The Experts from various Institutes and Senior faculty expressed their opinions on CUT-OFF marks as follows: Reasoning = 22-27 marks. English Language = 12-18 marks. Quantitative Aptitude = 21-26 marks. General Awareness = 25-30 marks. Computer Knowledge = 25-30 marks. Descriptive paper = 10-15 marks. Eligibility for IBPS exam:- Age limits:- >>For general category = 20 - 30 yrs . >>For OBC candidates = 20 yrs to 33 yrs. >>For SC/ST candidates = 20 yrs to 35 yrs. >>For Ex-servicemen candidates = 20 yrs to 35 yrs. Educational qualification requirement:- Graduation must be completed by you in any discipline from a recognized University. Graduation must be completed by you with a minimum of 45% marks.
