What is the minimum qualification needed for net PGT exam. Is a person with 3rd class MSc. Degree and BEd. eligible for writing the exam. What is the minimum percentage needed for working ina central school as PGT teacher.

i get 52 % in m.sc math agra university,.am i eligible for net and p.hd ,plz guide me i m very tenns.

I am B.Sc.(Hons.) Chemistry 68%.And doing B.Ed.Can I apply for NET or CTET now?

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should complete the post Graduation from any recognized university.

You have to score minimum 55% of marks in Post Graduation. Relaxation is applicable for other categories.

No upper age limit for this exam.

To be eligible for PGT exam You must have done two years integrated Post graduate M.Sc or B.ed.

For PGT qualifications are:
B.E/ B.Tech
M.Sc
B.Sc

For PGT (Bio-tech) qualifications are:
M.Sc/M.Tech in biotechnology/ microbiology/ bio chemistry

Maximum agelimit is 40 years
You should have at least 50% of marks in your graduation.
You will get salary in the range of : Rs.6500 - 10,000

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year..This test will be conduct for only lectureship , PHD and JRF .

Those candidate have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from recognized university are eligible for NET exam. 5% Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidate.

NET exam does not consider below 55% marks in masters degree.

Your age should be more then 19 years and there is no age limitation for those who are applying for Lectureship but for JRF , Your age should not be more then 28 years.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test conducted by University Grant Commission(UGC) for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF).

The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Post Graduation Degree in any stream with 55% marks(50% marks for SC/ST candidate) from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for NET.

There is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF should be within the age of 28 years of age.
