Civil services examination is Conducted by UPSC, Every Year in 2 stages, Preliminary examination and Main examination. Firstly you have to prepare well for Preliminary examination because it is the 1st Stage and if you cracked this stage only then you will appear for Main examination.

Preliminary examination is Objective type and there are 2 Papers in this examination and Both are of same marks and Pattern.

I have suggest you, please prepare for this examination according to the Pattern given in the official website, or if you need the Pattern then please download form there : Download Preliminary Exam Pattern

Please prepare for this examination according to NCERT Books.

Solve previous year papers of this examination, Only then you will be able to attempt examination well.
