sir i completed 12th pcb with state board i want to become an IPS officer i want to know which is the most suitable degree for this examination and my career and can i go with this examination after completing?

You can choose any bachelor's degree as your graduation to apply for IPS after completion of graduation.

IPS Eligibility
- You should have bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 21 to 32 years. Relaxation applicable 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST.
- Maximum attempts allowed are 6 for UR and 9 for OBC.

Application Procedure
- Visit the site : www.upsconline.nic.in
- Click on "Apply Online".
- Application consist registration part I and part II. Fill the application form carefully and Make a payment online in registration part II.
- Upload scanned photograph & signature online.
- Read the declaration & Click on "Agree" to submit the application.

IPS Important Dates
- Online Application Starts From : 23th April 2016
- Last Date of Application : 20th May 2016
- IPS Preliminary Exam : 7th August 2016
- IPS Main Exam : 3rd December 2016
