Is MSc in Physics with specialization in Electronics equivalent to BE or B.Tech degree?

I have done M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics from Meerut University and B.Sc two year programme with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I am being considered for a faculty position in Materials Science & Engg which requires a B.Tech degree. Is my M.Sc & B.Sc degree together are equivalent to BE of B.Tech degree?
