Can I do Diploma in Medical Technician on the basis of 10th?

Hi, is 11th and 12th mandatory to study 3 years regular Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT)? I failed in my 12th Board exams. So, can't I take admission in DMLT on the basis of 10th Board results?
