Is it necessary to appear in NEET to study Pharmacy also? I am giving NEET exam 2017, but if I didn't get admission then pharmacy should do?

NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test.
It is replacement for AIPMT and other individual entrance examination conducted by state and some of private colleges.

It is not compulsory to appear in NEET for admission in Bachelor of Pharmacy but all universities or institution provides admission either through NEET or conduct its own entrance examination.
You can take admission in B.Pharmacy without appearing in NEET but you need to qualify the entrance examination of that university or college.

The universities which offer admission without appearing in NEET are
-Amity University
-Lovely Professional University
-Sikkim Manipal University

LPU and some other college also provide admission on the basis of marks in 12th board examination.

No, it is not necessary to appear for NEET examination to get admission in Pharmacy course.

The examination is conducted by CBSE fro admission of candidates in MBBS, BDS in undergraduate courses.

So, to get admission in pharmacy course you need to appear for examination conducted by respective institution. The admission in course is not offered on basis of NEET.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India.

It is not necessary to give NEET to get into Pharmacy college.
Pharmacy admission is individual according to the college which you apply for.

If you are giving NEET and that get you a good marks.Its good.
But if not it doesn't matter for getting admission in some Pharmacy course.
you can happily join pharmacy course according to the marks obtained in your 12th boards.

It should be above 50% in PCB/PCM/PCMB.

Can I get admissions for b pharmacy through neet in maharashtra?

No. it is not necessary to pass NEET exam for getting admission in Pharmacy course. There are many good colleges and universities which conduct their own entrance exam for providing admissions in Pharmacy. There are also some State level exams which allow you to take admission in best selected Pharmacy colleges in that state. For example, Gujarat State conducts GUJCET for providing admissions in some of best Pharmacy colleges in Gujarat.
