is it necesary to know C and C++ before learning testing tools?

Hi,

C and C++ are the basic language. They are the base of software field. If you can get through C or C++ then it will be easier for you to understand other languages easily.
So it is better to have the knowledge of either C or C++. Testing tools like QTP uses VB Scripting that is similar to C.

yes of course at least you may be able to identify things so at least C is required to better understanding testing tools . otherwise you will not be able to identify things on your level. so try to learn basics of C and C++.

It is not necessary to know C/C++ before going for testing tools training.However,these languages make your foundation strong and help you to learn automation tools like Qtp which use descriptive programming.

these languages are the basic of software development.
so, you have to know the basic of these language,
c and c++ are not so tough if you try then two months you have a basic idea for this.

in software field if we not know the basic language then it is very big defective for us.

through which you can enter into the software field you need to learn about

c and c++.

Dear Friend, c and c++ are most fundamental languages and as you will learn more language you will get an idea that all are same with little difference in syntax....so yes try to learn these two languages if not c++ definitely c .

Testing is a technique to find bugs in software ,you should know some coding basic to find bugs or understand software.these are some basic language you should learn before testing.

definately it is mandetory not only for testing domain but also for every IT domain,becaause C & C++ is the mother prograammeing language,except these you can't do any thing in IT industry...

I am looking to settle my career in Java J2EE but as a project requirement I have to learn Testing tools. Are they
interrelated or not? If yes in testing tools which tool should we learn ?
