I want to know about the syllabus, exam pattern and marking scheme of NEET 2019. Further, what is the score calculation method? Is there any negative marking also? Can you also share few past years solved papers?

NEET Exam Pattern:

This exam will be conducted in offline mode.

Students have to Mark their responses on an OMR sheet.

The paper will have only multiple choice questions.

One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
45 questions are assigned to physics, chemistry, botany and zoology, each.

No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.

Changing answer is not allowed.

Multiple answers may be considered as incorrect response and will be negatively marked.


How to calculate NEET score?

For every correct answer, the candidate is awarded four marks for every in correct answer, one mark is deducted.

NEET Score = (Correct answers × 4)-( Incorrect answers ×1 )
