is there any special provision for OBC people in dce exams?

No special provision is there for OBC category people in DCE exams. The relaxation in percentage of marks is only for the SC and ST category people.

DCE will conduct CEE for admission to its various engineering programs.

85 percent of DCE seats are filled through CEE which is ment only for delhi domiciles,and rest of 15 percent seats sre filled through AIEEE which are ment for outsiders.

there is no reservation for candidates for dce.........although aieee has a reservation and you can get into dce through aieee........

as per the news their is 5%OBC quota this year for obc,and this is for all graduate and post graduate level.for more details visit official site .

delhi college of engineering....also takes students from aieee where obc quota is there .....so better try aieee..for obc quota.....

obc is not given extra quota for this exam ther is few seat reserved for sc/st and outsider 15% seats..........

yes, after the recent OBC quota introduction in govt colleges, DCE also has an OBC quota. I am not sure abt the % though, check it out in the brochure.

A candidate should have passed class 12th with atleast 60% aggregate in PCM. There is relaxation of 10% for SC/ST candidates in % aggregate. Additionally a candidate should be minimum 17 years of age and not more than 25 years of age on 1st October, 2010.

as i know there is some quota for SC/ST student,

Till now there is no reserved quota for OBC candidates however the team is working on this issue and will soon declare their decision
by then there is still no seats reserved for OOBCs

if i get my rank in eee around4-5 thousand can i get computer in dce through obc quota

friend, DCE take admission in B.Tech program either by AIEEE rank or by self conducted exam. & in self conducted exam there is no any chance for outside delhi students.
for SC/ST there are some seats are reserved but till this year , there are no any provision for reservation of OBC student.

i got 2600 state rank . will i get admission in nsit or dce . i am from general category

my air is 118345 .can seat is allowted

There are no any special provision for the OBC category students.

Almost 85% seats are filled by the CEE exam and the rest are filled with the AIEEE-AIR score.

So there are no chance for the OBC category students.

no , not from next year most probably. But general seats wont decrease it seems when it is implemented, the blatant seat increase procedure has already been started to accomodate the extra students.

No! There is no such quota in DSE . Sorry for this but achieve from general to do DSE.

Yes, this year the government will not increase the OBC quota. This contempt of court wherein supreme court of India directed to state government to implement it within 3 years. Central government and all state government implemented it. No OBC is coming forward for fiighting justice.

Govt. of delhi has passed bill on 25.7.2011for increased obc quota from 15% to 21% in DTU, NSIT, IP and IIIT delhi but department is delaying the process because no one for fighting for common cause.

from where did you get this info of 21% seats...???

my ward is studying in sonepat(Haryana) CBSE school. I am belonging from OBC(
Delhi) & domicile also from Delhi. Could you tell me the status, which category is treated for my ward. Is, it Delhi region 85% quota or outsider region15% quota.
