Re: Is an open university(Mumbai) student eligible for UPSC exam?
Yes, if the degree is approved by UGC or AICTE or if it is from a deemed university.
Your degree is treated at par with degrees of regular courses and you can appear for UPSC exam. |

Re: Is an open university(Mumbai) student eligible for UPSC exam?
I have completed my BA. English degree through Open University in a reputed university and later on I did my M.Sc Psychology in regular stream in the same. I got a seat in a regular college to do M.A. in English and also I got University first Rank and a gold medalist too. Further I did my M.Phil (English) in a reputed institution. Now I am working as an English lecture, but now college is not permitting me to work as a lecturer and they are asking me to work in the admin field. I am so disappointed. What shall I do now to enter into the field of teaching? Please help me.
