Hi, I have completed my Polytechnic Diploma from a college in Bihar and now I wish to do BA from a colleges affiliated to Allahabad University' Arts faculty. So, what are the chances of getting admission there?

yes polytechnic diploma is equivalent to intermediate that is 12th. if you passed diploma of engineering then it is like 10+3. even some students go for diploma of engineering study even after 12th pass with pattern 10+2+3.

Polytechnic diploma can be considered equivalent to 12th in some cases. For example you can do graduation in technical/science subjects after 3 years diploma. But if you wish to do graduation in art subjects it's better to study 12th and a polytechnic diploma is not enough.
