A child has passed class 9th from ICSE affiliated school in Pune while studying in a hostel. Now, he has returned to Delhi back to parents staying in Delhi. Can he seek admission in class 10th in CBSE affiliated school? What are documents required and eligibility conditions for seeking admission in directly in CBSE Schools?

There is no direct admission in std 10th in a CBSE affiliated school.

So, you will have to take admission in std 9th and than only you will become eligible to get admission in std 10th next year.

For admission in a school the required compulsory documents are :-

MARKSHEET for the last academic qualification.

Identity Proof.

##Yeah, sure but if you want to join in a CBSE affiliated school,please make
sure that child registration is not done for the ICSE examination .

##Do keep in mind that child ha been habituated with ICSE board pattern and curriculum,he/she may find little difficult to cope up with the atmosphere,curriculum, etc.The child needs to put extra effort on the studies.

##Produce the following certificate :-

1)9th grade marks list

2)Character certificate

3)Transfer certificate

4)Admission form
