Possibility of getting admission in B.Tech after passing Intermediate from Arts background?

I have completed my 12th Intermediate Board exams from Arts stream. Now, am I eligible to take admission in B.Tech or any other Engineering courses? Is there any way to get admission in any university or colleges to pursue Engineering degree course?

You won't be able to take admission in B.Tech or any engineering course now after completing 12th from arts stream. Engineering courses demand of 10+2 science stream students.

But if you really want to get in engineering field then there is one way for you. Get admission in polytechnic course on the basis of your 10th qualification. Then you will step into the engineering working line. You will be able to get engineering jobs then like junior engineer etc. And after your polytechnic you can be able to pursue B.Tech as well.
After polytechnic you will get lateral entry to direct second year of B.Tech.

There is no possibility for candidate who has done 12th in arts stream to apply for Bachelor of Technology course. The minimum academic qualification required to apply for B.Tech course is 12th passed in science stream with PCM subjects.

Only science stream candidates can pursue engineering course. Arts stream candidates are not eligible for Engineering courses.

B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology and as the name suggests it is a professional bachelor degree course of four years after completing which one head towards becoming an engineer.

Further, the minimum education required to pursue B.Tech degree course is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as main subjects from a recognized board of education.

So, having completed your Class 12th with Arts stream, you are not eligible for pursuing B.Tech degree course.

B.Tech is Bachelor in Technology. It is four year course.

The common eligibility to get admission in the course is that :-

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have passed 12th in PCM.

So, you are not eligible to appear for the examination to get admission in B.Tech after 12th in Arts stream.

B.Tech is Bachelor in Technology and it is four year course after 12th and three year course through lateral entry after diploma.

The required eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th in PCM from a recognised board.

So, it is not possible to get admission after 12th in Arts stream.

No, it is not possible to get admission in B.Tech course after completion of your B.Tech course from Arts Background. To be eligible to pursue B.Tech course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a government recognised board. So, being a 12th standard Arts stream student, you are not eligible to pursue B.Tech course.

Having completed your Class 12th with Arts stream, you are certainly not eligible for pursuing B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree course as for pursuing the same degree course, you need to have completed your Class 12th in Science stream with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects.
