Is it possible to do ACCA after 12th with less than 65% marks in 12th?
My name is Akshay . Now i completed 12th and waiting for my results.. i saw one reply for one question that student should have minimum 65% marks in 12th.....so my question is if i get below 65% marks in 12th will i able to do ACCA after 12th??
is there any other way to do ACCA?? I MEAN ANY OTHER EXAMS!!!! waiting for your reply!!! |

ACCA is a membership in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,UK; a professional qualification in the field of Accountancy, Auditing and Taxation. It is popularly known as the British CA, this course is equivalent to CA in India and the CPA of the USA.
It takes 2-3 years to complete the course. ACCA examinations are conducted by the British Council which is held in June and December every year. Eligibility criteria required to get admission for ACCA is +2 or equivalent with Commerce and Mathematics ( 60% in any two papers English/ Accountancy/ Mathematics) and 50% in other subjects. The candidate age should be at least 17 years. |

To be eligible to enroll for ACCA, you must have to qualify CAT(ACCA’s Certified Accounting Technician) or 12th standard with 65% marks in accounts/maths, 65% in English and 50% in rest of the subjects.
Yes, there is an alternate way to enroll for ACCA course for candidates who does not have 65% in the any two of the above mentioned subjects. The candidate must have to appear in 5 papers of CAT programme and can enter ACCA part 1 or he/she can enter ACCA part 2 by qualifying 9 papers of CAT programme. |
