Hai,

Eligibility for Postal assistant:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard with atleast 60% of marks from a recognised board or university.

You must be a citizen of India.

The age limits are 18 to 27 years,

3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Postal Assistant exam is conducted by the department of postal govt of India .

If You have completed the 10+2 standard with minimum above 60 % of marks from recognized board , then you are applicable for Postal Assistant Exam.If you are reserved category candidate then you can secured only 55 % of marks .

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old.Age relaxation provide for reserved category .

Pattern For Postal Assistant Exam :-

Total Marks- 100
Total no. of Questions- 100
Time Duration- 2 Hours.

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• You need to be higher secondary passed out or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution.
  
• At 10+2 level it is important for you to score not less than 60% of marks in aggregate.
  
• There is some relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For OBC candidates it is 50% of marks in aggregate and the SC/ST candidates will have to secure minimum 45% of marks at 10+2 level.
  
• Your age should not be less than 18 years when applying for this exam. For general category candidates the upper age limit for giving this exam is 27 years.
  
• You need to know the local language of the State of the postal circle in question so that you do not face any communication problem.

Examination Pattern:-

• Total Marks- 100
• Total no. of Questions- 100
• Time Duration- 2 Hours.

Subject Areas:-

1. General knowledge
2. Mathematics
3. English
4. Reasoning & Analytical Ability

Cut-Off Marks:-

1. OC - 10 marks in each part and 40% in aggregate
2. SC/ST - 8 marks in each part and 33% in aggregate
3. OBC - 9 marks in each part and 38% in aggregate

Postal Assistant Question paper

A candidate who have passed out their 12th std. in any discipline from recognized Board Exam can apply for this examination.....

A candidate must have secure at least 60% in their 12th Std....

Age of candidate should be minimum 18 years....

Age of candidate should not exist 27 years.....
