FOR TAKING ADMISSION IN LAW COLLEGES YOU HAVE TO APPEAR FOR CLAT (COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST)
Common Law Admission Test, (CLAT) 2011 Common Law Admission Test, (CLAT) 2011 The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2011 will be conducted for admission to the undergraduate programme at eleven National Law Universities. Eligibility: - Should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability). - Should not be more than 20 years (in case of General/OBC candidates and 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability) on 1st July, 2011. - Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also appear provisionally. However, they shall have to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination before or at the time of admission with detailed mark sheet. - Candidate with compartment/supplementary in any subject in the qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission. Pattern: Total Marks : 200 Total number of questions : 200 Subject areas with weightage: English including Comprehension 40 Marks General Knowledge 50 Marks Elementary Mathematics 20 Marks Legal Aptitude 45 Marks Logical Reasoning 45 Marks The important dates for CLAT-2011 candidates The Brochure along with OMR Application Form will be sold at Rs. 150/- from different post offices throughout India and at the eleven National Law Universities. From 17th January , 2011 (Monday) Request for OMR Application Form along with Brochure can also be made by sending a Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/ Pay order of Rs. 200/- in favour of "WBNUJS-CLAT A/C" payable at Kolkata to Convenor, Common Law Admission Test, CLAT-2011, The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. Block, Sector - III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700 098 Last date for submission of filled-in entrance examination application forms 02nd April, 2011 (Saturday) Date of admission test for UG/PG 15th May, 2011 (Sunday) From 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Publication of result 28th May, 2011 (Saturday) Last date of acceptance and confirmation of admission by depositing money in Post Office. if you have intereste to take admission in LLB course, you can appear in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which is conducted for admission to the LLB program at eleven National Law Universities. there are some very important institutions with some particular entrance exams. Eligibility: 1:you have to pass 10+2 or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in total and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH 2:you should not have compartment in any subject. 3:your age may be maximum 20 years for General/OBC and 22 years for SC/ST/PH. 4:if you are in qualifying examination of your degree,you can also appear provisionally.
