Sir/Madam, I am studying in 11th standard with Science stream. I want to give NDA exam in this year. I would like to know about the procedure to appear such kind of exam. Please help me to know about this as soon as possible.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and to join the same one is required to qualify the NDA entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year.

--> Further, the basic qualifications required to apply for the same examination are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of examination. Further, in order to join Indian Navy and Indian Air force wing of NDA, Mathematics and Physics is required a Class 12th level for must. Students in Class 12th are also eligible to apply for the same examination.

* You must hold the physical and mental fitness as per the service requirement norms.

So,being a student of Class 11th, you are not eligible to join NDA at this stage but you can apply for the same examination from next year i.e; once you get into your Class 12th.

NDA, a defence recruitment exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for students who have completed their 12th or pursuing it.
The candidates are recruited for the three wings of Indian defence namely army , airforce and Navy.
NDA exam prefers candidate who have completed their 12th and are.not above the age of 19.
Indian army recruits candidates from all the different streams but for airforce and Navy,it is mandatory for the candidates to have completed 12th with science stream with PCM
So there is no direct recruitment after 11th ,you can only apply after completion of while pursuing 12th
