Procedure to get lateral entry after doing diploma in EE?
Dear
sir, i am a student of deploma in E.E .. I am interested in B.E/B.Tech ..so please tel me the procedure of lateral entrans...and what types of paper are examine.. I am waiting for ur reply...... |

Yes a diploma student can do graduation directly....
Diploma is enough to get admission in any college who has LATERAL ENTRY FACILITY for doing B.tech .. for IIT , it doesn't have any LATERAL entry facility but AIEEE colleges has...the same. Either you can do specialization in your subject with institutes like NIIT, GNIIT etc.. It will make your career boost up... Else you can even try for many government jobs.. dear friend,
After completion of diploma you can go for B.tech course.. For that you have to appear in lateral entry exams like- JELET, Polytechnic etc.. Different state organize different lateral entry exams... After qualifying in any of these exam you will get a chance to take admission in B.tech course.. So, go for the exam.. All the best...

If you have completed 3 years diploma after class 10th ,then yes you are eligible to join engineering degree directly into 2nd year through a scheme called Lateral Entry or Diploma to Degree . There are so many institutes which conducts their own Lateral entry exam and qualifying that exam will ensure your admission . The colleges like IITs and NIts doesn't permit admission through Lateral Entry scheme and this is one of the disadvantage of this system or scheme. With Regards rchauhan294
