Hello, I'm Raghavendra Yadav I want to join CID how I can join it my qualification is intermediate pass? Can you please guide me with the information which is needed? Hope that I will get the answer soon. Thank you.

Procedure to join CID Department:

Basically there several ranks in Criminal Investigation Department and they may include,

>> Constable post
>> Sub Inspector (SI)
>> Superintendent
>> Inspector
>> DSP..etc.,

The basic educational qualification required generally varies from post to post.

@ For Constable post - 12th Class is required
@ For Sub Inspector post - Graduation is required

Except for Constable post, the basic educational qualification required for all other posts is Graduation. For constable posts after 12th Class, you are required to go through the recruitment section of CID department.

On the other side, if you are willing to apply for SI posts you are required to appear in Civil Services Entrance Examination that is conducted by UPSC for which the basic qualification required is Graduation.
