I have completed my graduation. MY STREAM WAS LANGUAGE HONS. CAN I JOIN CID/CBI?

HOW CAN I APPLY THERE? What is the procedure followed for it? Is there any minimum requirement asked for it? Can you please furnish me all the details which are required for the same. Looking forward to hear the answer soon.

After completing your graduation from recognized university you can join CBI and CID.

Eligibility criteria for joining CBI and CID are as follows:

-> A candidate should be a graduate from recognized university.

-> A candidate age limit should be between 20-27 years.

-> A candidate height must be
165 cm for men
150 cm for women

-> A candidate eyesight should be very clear there should be no problem in his/her eyesight.

-> Age relaxation for ST/SC candidate should be 5 years and for an OBC candidate is 3 years.

These are some criteria that a candidate has to fulfil at the time of applying for the post.

Yes, surely you can apply for CID/CBI after the completion of your graduation.

Below I have mentioned the eligibility criteria of it, kindly have a look:

Eligibility criteria for CID/CBI:

> Candidate should have a minimum qualification of graduation from a recognized university.

> Minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years

> Maximum age should not exceed 27 years at the time of applying for the examination

> Candidate's minimum height must be,

165 cm for men

150 cm for women

> Candidate's eyesight should be 6/6 and should have no eye defects

> Age relaxation for ST/SC candidate is 5 years and for OBC candidate is 3 years

Eligibility criteria for CBI/CID exam are as follows:

- You must have degree of a recognized University.

- You should be between 20-25 years if you belongs to general category .

Age relaxation

for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes :5 years
for OBC : 3 years relaxation.

Physical Requirements:-

Male:

• 165 cms for General/OBC/SC candidates
• 162.5 cms for ST candidate
• Chest expansion:Minimum 79 cms.

Female:

• 155 cms for General/OBC/SC
• 154 cms for ST candidates

Exam Scheme:-

- Part I - Written Examination

- Part II - Personality Test

You need to concentrate on the following topics for Part I

• General Test
• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Numerical Ability

You need to concentrate on the following topics for Part II

• English Language
• Language Comprehension
• Communication / Writing
• Ability Test

You will have to answer for 500 marks in total (Paper I : 400 marks and Paper II : 100 marks).

Yes you can join CID /CBI after your graduation through SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission ) Combined Graduate Level examination conducted by SSC every year.

1.The Graduation degree must be from recognized university.
2.The age og candidates must be 21-27 years with relaxation of 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST candidates.
3.There is also requirements in physical .

The examination is conducted in to two parts .
1.Written.
2.Interview.

Yes absolutely you are eligible to apply for either CID or CBI Officer and if you want to go for the CID and CBI you can follow the below eligibility criteria and the application procedure.

Eligibility to apply for CID and CBI :

1.You must have a graduation degree from the recognized university with minimum percentage of marks.

2.The Age should be in between 20 to 27 years for S.I in CBI and 21 to 30 years for CID .There is a relaxation for the reserved candidates.

3.Final year students of graduation are also eligible to apply for the CID or CBI officer.

And also you have to satisfy the physical standard required for the CID and CBI Officer. For Male candidates you should have 165 cms and for female candidates 150 cms height

After graduation degree, you can apply for CBI exam.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation. CBI exam is conducted by SSC through CGL exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.

Your age should be in between 17 to 21 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

After your graduation you can apply for the SSC CGL examination to get enter in the mentioned organizations or you can write the seperate entrance exams conducted by them every year.
