what is the procedure to join indian army after graduation and also minimum marks required in graduation to join army?

hi,
after graduation you can join indian army by giving
entrance exam . & you have to get 60% mark in graduation
level.

To become an officer in Indian Army requires training in a recognised Army Institute.

Those who have done 10+2 can apply for National Defence Academy, admission to which is open twice a year.

Those who have done Graduation can apply for Indian Military Academy through Civil Defence Services exams which are also conducted twice a year. Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC and involves a rigorous procedure for entrance involving a Written test, Physical tests, Medical tests, Group tests and Personal Interview. Tech Graduates and 10+2(PCM) candidates have separate recruitment procedure also for training for Indian Army.

Eligibility for Indian Defence Career

Indian Army :

Technical Entry Scheme (TES) for male 10+2 (PCM) candidates.

10+2 Pass unmarried make candidates with Physic, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) with a minimum of 70% marks and between the age of 16½ and 19½ Years are eligible

As an Indian Army Engineer, you could be a part of any of the three elite corps of Engineers,

• Bombay Spares
• Madras Engineers
• Bengal Engineers.

Two Options available

a) Permanent Commission
b) Short Service Commission

In short service Commission you can serve for 5 years and have an option to quit the army.
you can apply following ways
1.)Technical Entry Graduates IMA exam mostly held in January and July and age should be 20 to 27 Years and mode of

selection is Direct SSB..
2.)SS Commission not fixed and after completion of b.tech chech with related dates in employement news.
3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov and age should be between 19 to 25 and mode is Direct SSB

You can join in Indian Army by appearing either CDS or SSC exams.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with 60% from any recognized university.
Age should be between 21 to 25 years
Minimum height should be 157cm

CDS exam will conducted twice in year by upsc examination department.

There are mainly 3 ways to join the Indian army.
They are
NDA
CDS
UES.
These 3 exams held by the UPSC.

For NDA:

you have to pass 12th stander ed with recognized board.

Age limit:19 years.

For CDS:

you must be a graduate from a recognized university.

For UES:
After completion of degree the students have a direct entry to the Indian army.
Age limit:25 years.

Hi,
if you are interested you can go through SSB Board directly after completing your graduation. You can complete your graduation from any stream. If you want to join Army then you can join B.tech also for good post.

Through SSB you can join army from three ways-

1.)Technical Entry Graduates can do I.M.A exam which held in January and July. For which age limit should be 20 to 27 Years. Your selection will be through SSB.

2.) After completion of b.tech go throgh with related dates in employement news and SS Commission not fixed

3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov. Age should be between 19 to 25 Years and mode is Direct SSB

dear friend,

You can join indian army after graduation. Students having 50% and above marks are eligible to join. Entry will be through Graduate Entry Scheme(GES)/Combined Defence Services (CDS)examination.

If you qualify you will be called for SSB interview and medical fitness.

Selection will be based on the merit list and the vacancy available at that time.

Indian Army :NCC special entry
Application are invited to join Indian Army:-
1)Vacancies :-50 seat for men and 08 seat for woman
2)Condition for eligiblity:-
(i) A candidate must be indian .
(ii)age limit of candidate must be in between (19 to 25 year )

You can join the Indian Army after your graduation. The minimum percentage of mark that you need to have to apply is 60%. Having this percentile will not be the only criteria. You will have to write the test conducted by UPSC and rank among the top to be called for the interview. The interview is called SSB interview. There are lots of stages in this interview, after which they will choose the best among the candidates. But even after clearing the interview, the hurdle of getting into the Army is not over. You need to be declared medically fit by the group of doctors that conduct your medical test.

hi i hve 50% marks in B.Tech, can i apply for army????

I have done my graduation (B.A.)with 62% marks but my marks %age at 10 2 level(Non-Medical) is not sixty i.e.54% Will it affect my admission in CDSE(IMA & OTA).
Also tell me the process how I may become a pilot in Indian Army (Aviation corp).Shall I eligible with the same qualification?????????
