RECRUITMENT OF POLICE OFFICERS/ PERSONNEL IN TAMIL NADU POLICE

All recruitments at the level of Sub-Inspectors and Police Constables are done by Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.

Notification for recruitment is published from time to time.

Following are the minimum requirements for recruitment:-

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

FOR SUB-INSPECTOR:

AGE: 18-24 years for both Men and Women.

HEIGHT: Minimum 170cms for men and Minimum 159 cms for women.

HEIGHT (SC/ST): Minimum 167cms for men and Minimum 157cms for women.

CHEST: 81 (Expn.:5cms.)

EDUCATION: Any Degree.


For CONSTABLE

AGE: 20-28 years for both Men and Women.

HEIGHT: Minimum 170cms for men and Minimum 159 cms for women.

HEIGHT (SC/ST): Minimum 167cms for men and Minimum 157cms for women.

CHEST: 81 (Expn.:5cms.)

EDUCATION: 10th Standard.
