i m b.tech (cse) student .i want to know the procedure of off campus palcement n what preparations r to b made for the same!!!!!!!!

for the off campusing you must prepare yourself,first of all you have to sit for aptitude test in which there are question on reasoning,class 10th level maths question ,all you have to do is prepare from r.s agarwal books of reasoning,after getting qualified in aptitude,you have to go for G.D,and then personal interview,so increase your communication skill,other than these you can see www.freshersworld.com for the placement papers.

as per my informations........spoken english must be fluent.. and also good technical knowledge and great personality ........

you have to prepare for different types of tests like aptitude,genereal discussions,communication skills,interview,etc. so prepare yourself well and be confident about yourself and say whats on your mind in the interview without hesitating.

dear friend the procedure of off campussing is very simple, you have to submit yur resume in any company which offer jobs. then you go to office of the company & participate in different test like Aptitude test, then HR interview & then finally Technical interview.
You have to fluent in english because some companies organize group discussion also.

for off campus placement various companies throw recruitment notice. you would have to submit the reqired documents with your resume in the recruitment cell of that company.
then the company schedules your examination which includes aptitude test, written examination and interview on its place.
some companies are conducting group discussion and speaking skill ability tests now a days.
so for gettin jobs through such processes you must have excel in different types of tests like aptitude,genereal discussions,communication skills,interview,etc.

for the off campus...when the form will be available in the market or on the websites,
then you have to fill up that form with proper instruction given for the application form,
then on the basis of the selection procedure...such as written test,
GD,PI.
you will be selected.

off campus pattern is somewhat difficult from the on-campus..for any campus there will be a written test..for this u must go through r.s.agarwal aptitude book..and have to prepare reasoning well..all will loose marks in it..so be prepare for it..for reasoning go for verbal and non-reasoning books like cat r gre books..if u clear the written test 50% job is done..next plays a crucial role that is the communication skills..if u r good at communication skills u will be selectd with little amount of technical..infosys doesn't have an technical round..they concentrate on written and communication skills..i hope u have understood what i said now..

The only procedure for the campus selection is that you must have 60% in your 10 and 12...

And you should not have any backlog in the semester exam....

Then you cango for the campusing for all type of companies in the campus...

And the rest process are done by the college,so you need not have to worry for that...

if you are eligible for post in that company then fill up the application form.you can also apply on line, if it is possible.

after passing the written exam, interview whatever it may be, you will be selected in that company.

If the grades are very low and knowledge is good then what should do for the good job??

Attending for companies in other colleges is very useful to get a job.

There should be no special improvements, you can go as the same you go to on campus drive.
But just know about the students of that college and makes sure you will be equal in body language equal to that students.

firstly i request you to get vocabulary knowledge and a compitatable communication skill.
for increasing your communication skill you must read daily like THE HINDU.
because you will get enter by a 10th standared aptitude test. it is so easy . i request you to buy agrwal and barren aptitude test books.
based on the latest recruitment let me discuss the 4 stages that generally constitute the campus recruitment.
1. aptitude test.
1 hr test would carry 50-60 qtns frm quantitative aptitude, verbal and non verbal.
2.group discussion.
would be conducted among a batch with 10 or 15 students. you must improve your communication level for this stage.
3. technical interview.
this will be depending upon your course subject, in your case especially your programming skill. its good to say you prepare.
4.HR interview,
there could be qtns on your goal, achievement, real life problem solving etc.

so according to this steps i request you to get a confidence fst.
communication skill i told you the easy way to access that by your reading news paper. dnt tensd or worried abt the new words that cming daily,. coz after a month you can see that all words are repeating. so it will be thrilling for you like students.

Yes anyone can attend the off-campus placement if it is held in the other colleges, there is no need of getting any hall tickets, you just have to be prepared with your 10th,12th and degree marksheets which is same like attending a campus interview in your own college... hope the info. helps...
