I m graduate and my age is 24+ years running. I wish to apply for SI of Assam police. But i dont know the required qualification, percentage and age limit. So inform me please. Thanking you.

Details regarding qualification and age limit required to appear in Assam Police SI examination is mentioned below :-

1. Nationality :-
=> You must be a citizen of India.

2. Educational Qualification :-
=> You should have obtained Graduate degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a Government College/ University.

3. Age Limit :-
=> You should not be less than 20 years and more than 24 years as on 1st July of the year of examination.

=> Upper age limit of 5 years is relaxable to candidates who belong to SC, ST (H) and ST (P) category.

4. Physical Standards :-
(i) Height (Minimum)
a) Gen/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC
=> Male : 162.56 cm (5’ 3’’)
=> Female : 154.94 cm (5’ 1’’)

b) ST (H)/ ST (P)
=> Male : 160.02 cm (5’ 2’’)
=> Female : 152.40 cm (5’)

(ii) Chest (Only for men)
a) Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ ST (P)
=> Normal : 80 cm (31.5’’)
=> Expanded : 85 cm (33.5’’)

b) ST (H)
=> Normal : 78 cm(30.5’’)
=> Expanded : 83 cm (32.5’’)

5. Medical Standards :-
You must not have knock knee, flat foot or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision.

Qualification and age limit for Assam police SI examination:-

Eligibility criteria :-

Candidates must have passed intermediate passed/ graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce for Sub Inspector posts and diploma / A/B/C certificate of membership of National Cadet corps/ diploma in Computer.

Age criteria :-

Candidates must have between 20 to 24 years for Sub Inspector

Pay scale :Rs. 5200 -20200 + Rs .3300 grade pay+ other allowances.

Eligibility criteria for SI post:-

Educational Qualification:

Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age:

Minimum age = 20 years
Minimum age = 28 years

Nationality:

Indian.

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST- 5 years

OBC- 3 years

Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved)- 5 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 8 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST)- 10 years

Physical criteria for SI post for Police:-

Minimum Physical Standard:

i) For Male Candidates:
Height-1.67 mtrs.
Weight-51.5 Kgs
Chest-79 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms

ii) For Female Candidates:-
Height-1.60 mtrs.
Weight- 45 Kgs

iii) Vision :

Eye-sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

The maximum age limit to appear for Assam Police SI examination is 24 years for general category, so, it will be difficult for you to apply for the exam if belong to the general category otherwise there is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories.

Eligibility criteria required to appear for Assam Police SI examination:-

-The candidate should have passed Bachelors degree in any stream or equivalent from recognized university.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 24 years . Upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates as per the rules of the Assam Govt.

The selection procedure consists of

* Written Test

* Physical Efficiency Tests (PET),

*Extracurricular Activities

*Computer Proficiency Test

* Interview .

I am science graduate and belongs to OBC caste my dob is 20.08.1990 so may i eligible from age to apply Assam police SI post 2018

Candidate as you want to apply for SI post in Assam police then you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for that and eligibility for that are as follows:-

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

:- Candidate must have done graduation from Govt. recognized institution with minimum 50% marks.

:- Candidate going to apply age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

:- Applying candidate must be Indian citizen.

:- Both male and female are allowed to apply.

:- Minimum height required for male candidate to apply is 163cm and for female candidate is 153cm.

:- Candidate going to apply must be physically fit and medically strong.

:- Minimum weight required to apply for male candidate is 55kg and for female candidate is 45kg.

:- Candidate must have good eye sight that is 6''6.

:- Candidate must be free from any kind of eye disease like color blindness or night blindness.

So if you fulfill this eligibility criteria then you can apply for the SI post in Assam police.

I m 32 years old. Now I m doing a job in the rank police constable. Can I get age relaxation as a govt. Service holder?

if any one in bsc only obtained 48/ percentage than he /she eligible for si exam
