what are the qualification required for marine colleges...please mention to me the qualification s required

Marine engineering is a field of good career prospects for those who are interested in working in ship or shipping companies. The basic qualification for all marine engineering courses is to pass 12th in 10 + 2 pattern from any recognized university. Most of the colleges admit candidates to marine engineering courses on the basis of entrance test. You have to write entrance exams conducted by IITJEE, AIEEE, etc to get admission for this course. You can find the eligibility criteria for these exams along with the notification of these tests.

To apply for marine engineering course you should have 12th from any recognised university.

Admission in this course is done according to marks in entrance exam.there is no separate exam for this course.this a branch of B.Tech.

Marine engineering cuurse is very good course this provide various apportunity of job.

The minimum eligibility to get admission in Marine Engineering

1:you should pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

2:After that you have to pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms also

3:you should have the eyesight of 6/6 with no colour blindness.

Sir, I am studying 12th computer science student. I want to join in a marine engineering what course I want to take for the marine job

-> Should have done +2 with aggregate percentage. Maintaining more than 90% in maths,physics and chemistry adds more chances.
-> One needs to attempt the entrance exam of that respective college and secure the decent rank because there are chances of getting scholarship if ranks are in admirable places.
-> So, concentrate on preparation for entrance exam and perform well.
