What age minimum of scra and minimum qualification?.
i have done 12th so want to appear for this exam.

Candidate aspiring for Special Class of Railway Apprentice ( SCRA ) Exam must follow Qualification criteria like age, education, etc successfully which is described below.

AGE CRITERIA:

Candidates must be attained lower age limit if 17 years of age & must have completed upper age limit of 21 on 1st August of year of examination.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

1. You must have passed any government approved examination ( University/Board )
2. Another One important Criteria is:
Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subject of the examination.

SCRA Examination was conducted by UPSC Every year, So If you are Interested to apply to apply for SCRA Examination then you have to complete your 12Th examination.

So, To apply for this examination you need to satisfied the given eligibility Criteria -

>> You have to complete your 12Th examination with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

OR

>> Graduate candidates with with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects are also apply for SCRA Examination.

And your age should between 17 to 21 Years (For General Candidates).

Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and Other reserved category candidates.

For this year SCRA Examination was already completed and If you are Interested in this examination then please apply for this examination Next Year i.e. in 2012.

The Notification of SCRA Examination was published in the month of October 2011 and it was published in the employment newspaper OR in the UPSC website, Eligible candidates may apply for this examination Online OR Offline, The Offline application for Can be Obtained form the designated post offices in India.

SCRA Entrance Qualification Criteria:

Candidates aspiring for Special Class of Railway Apprentice exam , must succesfully follow qualification criteria of Railway-SCRA entrance exam as of age , education etc....

Age Criteria:
Candidates must have attained lower age limit of 17 years of age & must have completed upper age limit of 21 on 1st august of year of examination..

Educational Qualification:

1.) To take admission in this examination, candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination in first or in second division.
2.) University or board is of govenment approved.
3.) Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
4.) Mathematics graduate or students with at least one of the subjects Physics or Chemsitry as their degree level may apply also..

Age: The candidates aspiring for the SCRA examination must have attained 17 years of age and must not have completed 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination. Certain categories of persons as specified in the Notice are eligible for age relaxation.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

For admission to the examination a candidate-

(a.) Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply,

or

(b.) must have passed in the first or second division, the Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

You must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Examination.

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

The candidate must have attained the age of minimum 17 years.Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC Candidates.

Eligibility for SCRA:-

Age Limit:-The candidate aspiring CRSA examination must have attained 17 years of age and must have not completed 21 years on the first August of the year of examination.

Educational Qualification:-Must have passed 10+2 in the first or second division with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

Required Age limit and Qualification for SCRA Exam -

Qualification -

1.Candidate who have passed the first/second year exam under the three-years degree course in the first or second division with Mathematics and either physics ans chemistry as subjects can apply .

2.Candidate have to pass the Per-engineering exam with first division from any university approved by Government of India.

3.Candidate should pass the 12th or equivalent with first or second division .

4.Second year student of Engineering can apply.

Age limit -

Minimum age 17 years and the maximum age should be less than 21 years .

SCRA means Special class of railway apprentice.In this exam must have some rules for age,qualification.

the age for lower age limit 17 and the Upper age limit must have completed 21 in august 2011.

S.C.R.A. exam stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice examination .
This exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission(U.P.S.C).
If you are interested to get recruited into Mechanical department of Indian Railways then you need to appear in this test.
