for TET entrance exam ,in general quota what is the maximum age limit required ? as i belong to general category.

TET EXAMINATION:
Age Limit: – General Male and Female – Max 37 years OBC Male and Female – Max 40 years SC/ST Male and Female – Max. 42 years. No age relaxations for ex- servicemen. Eligibility Requirements: 1. Secondary School Teacher Candidates must be Graduate with minimum 50 percent marks and BEd. However, those candidates who are domiciled citizen of Bihar are eligible to apply on the basis of graduation degree (50 percent marks) . Such candidates of Bihar, who are applying on the basis of graduation degree would be required to complete one year course of BEd. in 1 year. 2. Physical Education Teacher (B PEd.) Candidates must be graduate and Bachelor of Physical Education or equivalent. 3. Oriental Teacher Candidates must be graduate of equivalent in Sanskrit / Farsi / Arabi with minimum 50 percent marks. 4. Music Teacher and Arts Teacher Degree in Music or Arts from a recognized university or institute. One year BEd. best wishes!!! |

The Full Form Of TET is Teachers Eligibility Test. This test is conducted every year by all the state governments for the recruitment of teachers in Government Schools and Colleges. The Qualifications Required for Teachers Eligibility Test are : * You must have completed B.Ed course. * There is no upper age limit for the TET Exam. * The Lower age limit for the exam is 21 years. * The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. So , you need not to worry regarding the age limit for the TET Exam. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. i have completed B.A. ENGLISH WITH 48.57% AND M.A. ENGLISH WITH 46.70% AS WELL AS B.ED WITH 77.05% TET/TAT CLEARED (GENERAL CATEGORY). CAN I APPEAR IN PH.D ENTRANCE OR BE A LECTURER IN ARTS OR B.ED COLLAGE?
