How much % I WANT TO GET DIRECT ADMISSION IN BITS

The only possible way to get direct admission to any of the BITS(Birla Institute of Technology and Science) is to be a board topper at the 10+2 level in one of a recognized boards in India(recognized by the ministry of education).

Otherwise, one has to apply for BITSAT and qualify the exam along with a minimum aggregate of 75% in PCM in the 10+2 level to get admission to BITS.

you have passed 12th class but you did not mention that how many % you got in 12th and you are asking about BITS so i think you are from science stream.
for BITS there is not direct method to get admission.
-BITS own take a entrance exam. in which you will give and according to rank you will get admission in that college.
- firstly your percentage will be equal 80% or more that 80%. if you have 79.9% you are not eligible for BITS.
-if you give the AIEEE entrance exam then in that if you got good rank then you can get the BITS institute other wise there is no any chance to get BITS

The provision of direct admission is for board toppers only.

Even if you get 99% marks but you don't top in the board from which you have appeared
board exams, you can't be eligible for direct admission in BITS.

Suppose you get 85% marks in xyz state board and you topped the xyz board then
you can get direct admission but another candidate who got 85% in some other board
but it is not the highest marks in his board then he is not eligible for direct admission
in BITS.

Following is the list of aieee ranks needed to get admit into BIT Mersa,Jharkhand :-

A) For Bio-Technology :-
Gen :- Between 25,000 and 27000
SC :- Between 80,000 and 85,000
ST :- Between 1,00,000 and 1,10,000

B) For Civil Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 20,000 and 25,000
SC :- Between 73,000 and 76,000
ST :- Between 1,00,000 and 1,20,000

C) For Computer Science & Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 8,000 and 15,000
SC :- Between 35,000 and 55,000
ST :- Between 40,000 and 57,000

D) For Electronics & Communication Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 6000 and 12,000
SC :- Between 30,000 and 40,000
ST :- Between 40,000 and 50,000

E) For Mechanical Engineering :-
Gen :- Between 17,000 and 25,000
SC :- Between 65,000 and 75,000
ST :- Between 71,000 and 80,000

F) For IT :-
Gen :- Between 45,000 and 60,000
SC :- Between 80,000 and 95,000
ST :- Between 1,10,000 and 1,30,000

There are no direct admission in BITS may be, the admissions in BITS as per Competition are how may student appeared and qualify in BITS entrance exam.

The BITS college offer direct addmission on the bases of topers in the board .
if you want to get direct addmission in any college then you will have to become topper of the board after that you will be eligible for the addmission otherwise you will have to give the entrance exam to get addmission in the college.

If you are any BOARD TOPPER then you can directly apply for BITS without going through BITSAT exam irrespective of percentage scored. Even if your %age is more than a student who is a particular board topper but you are not board topper then you are not eligible for direct admission.

Eligibility for BITSAT exam:
• Candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.
• Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2012 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2011 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2012 test.

Please check your information..the minimum percentage required to be eligible for BITSAT is 75% now and not 80% as mentioned by you.
Also there are no seats for BITS through AIEEE, i request you to update your knowledge on this subject.

How many marks u should get in bitsat to get in different campus of bits

hello myself nikhil gupta and i got 215 marks in bits plani 2012 . i want to know that which college of bits plani i got ?

all u hav to do is be the state topper.bits is giving addmission to all state board toppers under a scheme of bits.
if are a state topper u need not have to apply for bitsat also
