The advertisement for SET is published in the month of March every year
and the examination is conducted in the month of September.

Presently, the application process for the Scientist post in ISRO is on.
The last date to apply is 28th Feb 2011.

forms for Scientist/Engineer `SC' posts in ISRO are available currently. you can register online till 28th of this month.

as for DRDO they conduct the SET(Scientist Entry Test). for details on it you can visit the official website at www.drdo.gov.in.

you can do the research in the govt firms like that of the DRDO ,ISRO and the BARC ....
there is some vacancies in the ISRO .....
so you can apply in that to do the research there and get a job there .......

For DRDO or ISRO or BARC examination final year candidates also eligible.

Minimum eligibility for DRDO or ISRO or BARC examination is graduation in engineering with 65 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university.
