Hello friend,

You can do short term trainings in foundations like ISRO/BARC.

In this case, you should talk to your college administration and ask them to arrange the training program in ISRO/BARC.

On receiving the request letter from your institute the officials of BARC/ISRO will send a letter of acknowledgement whether they have permitted you to do short-term training there.

So at first talk to your college authority,if they are unable to arrange you yourself can try to contact with the ISRO/BARC officials.

Actually for training in ISRO and other reputed organisations your college must sent a request to them and so your college must be reputed. So first find out in your college whether they have any such programme to send their students for training

yes you can do training in isro\barc. but for this you have to bring bonafide certificate from your college administration.
then you can directly go to the isro office and can consult with them for trainee.

Hello friend,

Yes, you can do summer training from isro/barc in your 6th semester.
The process for applying in these companies will have some formalities.
First you have to receive a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE(NOC) from your college. then you have to send it along with your resume and and a request letter.
After 2-3 days you will get an acknowledgment letter or you can say approval letter.

So these are the process for applying.

indian space research organisation is a priviledged organisation from india working on space technology.
basically,isro takes 3 departments:
cs,mechanical and ece.
going through their entrance you could join isro.

I can say you friend that there is a mere chance of getting trained in such a reputed organisations. But still if you want to try, just follow following steps:

1. Get a training letter from college administration or Training officer.
2. Fill it completely with the name of the organisation in which you wish to take training.
3. Get it posted to the organisation's registrar/mailbox/training center or whatever they are called.
4. Wait from further correspondance regarding training.

After this if nothing has been happened , contact company representative and tell them about your application request. Hopefully they will tell you that whether you are eligible for them or not.

Summer trainings are usually meant for students in their second and third year. If you want to do a project at any of these places, you will need to send a request to them. The decision to let a person to a project lies in the hands of the department head in all these places.

i am pursuing m.sc biotechnology.........i want summer training in barc for 2 to 3 months it is possible

I am studying integrated M.Sc 2nd year in pondicherry central university.
I want to do summer project in BARC.
Can i join directly in that or any procedure is there for selection.

ISRO/DRDO/BARC have different branches/institutions headed by director for reach and development in various filed
so you have to approach the director of the institution (the institution in which your interest for internship is available )for internship through your school authorities

you may look for following few ways

- you may ask your college placement cell to send official letter to ISRO/BARC for getting few seats for summer trainning

- you may try to mail them directly asking them for summer internship. However, they take people candidates with very good academics

BARC has stopped taking candidates through application due to a accident done by trainee in 2010. Now, it takes trainee based on request of its employees, i.e employees can request for internship for his son/daughter.
Try to find any contact in BARC. He/she may be able to help you
