After M.Sc microbiology you can start your career in microbiology lab or any chemical/food and beverage company as a microbiologist.

-You can join in chemical plants, iron fornus and many more to add.

so choose a good option for your bright future.
Good luck.....

Hello,

Electronics and Telecommunications and Civil are one of the core branches and can be said to be evergreen one just like Mech.
Sometimes people say Civil is subset of Mechanical and to some extent they may right but by and large civil people mainly go into construction , structure and mega structures. In fact mos of the engineering marvels are made by civil engineers. And history proves it.
regarding Electronics and telecommunications, I don't think one even needs to worry about future of this branch. First of all , the whole world is going automated and digitized which has created ever increasing demand of people in such field. Add to this, the the recent advancements in communication and sudden shoot of demand in market has also secured the future of this branch. Day by day, the need for better and vast reach out of communications is increasing. Not only government but private sectors are also coming up in huge number in both these areas.

I will like to give brief description ion the syllabubs if both these branches which will give you feel of these branches.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
Structural Engineering
Mechanics
Bending moment and shear force in statically determinate beams.
Simple stress and strain relationship
Simple bending theory
Thin walled pressure vessels
uniform torsion
buckling of column
combined and direct bending stresses.

Structural Analysis
Analysis of statically determinate trusses etc.
displacements in statically determinate structures
analysis of statically indeterminate structures by force/ energy methods,
Basic concepts of matrix methods of structural analysis.

Concrete Structures

Steel Structures
Analysis and design of tension and compression members, beams and beam- columns, column bases.
Connections- simple and eccentric, beam, column connections, plate girders and trusses. Plastic analysis of beams and frames.

Geotechnical Engineering

Soil Mechanics
Origin of soils, soil classification, three-phase system
permeability & seepage, effective stress principle, consolidation, compaction, shear strength.

Foundation Engineering

Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics
Properties of fluids, principle of conservation of mass, momentum, energy and corresponding equations
potential flow, applications of momentum and Bernoulli’s equation, laminar and turbulent flow, flow in pipes, pipe networks.
Concept of boundary layer and its growth.
Uniform flow, critical flow and gradually varied flow in channels, specific energy concept
hydraulic jump.

Irrigation

Water requirements
Quality standards, basic unit processes and operations for water treatment.
Sewage and sewerage treatment, quantity and characteristics of waste water.
Primary, secondary and tertiary treatment of waste water, sludge disposal, effluent discharge standards.

Civil Engineers can find job in Government departments, private and public sector industries, research and teaching institutions etc. Job opportunities for civil engineers are expected to increase as fast as the average for all jobs, although the construction industry is vulnerable to fluctuations in the economy.
Civil engineers will always be needed to maintain and repair existing facilities and structures and to construct new ones. After doing B.Tech, one can look for jobs in road projects, building work, consultancy firms, quality testing laboratories or housing societies. The experts say there is a high demand for experienced civil engineers in developed countries.

Civil engineers are employed in all the major construction projects carried out by the state or central government, the railways, private construction companies, military, engineering services, consultancy services etc. Civil engineering graduates can also go in for research and take up teaching or they can open their own independent consultancy services.

i think you should take civil engineering because nowadays there are so many computer engineers and there market is down in Asia. And everywhere there are computer centre which teaches computer or software courses which are small and very helpful and give you basic knowledge about computer.

But remember if u have been interested in computers then you surely take computer science engineering.
